School cinema

Our mission is to
educate young people

As time moves on and the number of living witnesses dwindles, the culture of remembrance regarding the atrocities of national socialism is in a state of upheaval. This makes films such as „Ambassador of Remembrance“ all the more important and educationally valuable, as they can carry the lessons learned into the future and communicate them to a broad and especially young audience. Between mid-September and the end of November, as well as around International Holocaust Remembrance Day on 27 January and in May 2025, several film screenings will be supported by discussions with contemporary witnesses and employees of various memorial institutions.

School cinema screenings
of „Ambassador of Remembrance“

The film is timeless, and its message will always remain important, but there will be some very special reasons to attend school screenings of „Ambassador of Remembrance” over the next few months. Between mid-September and mid-October, with a focus on the 85th anniversary of the outbreak of the Second World War, around 27 January, the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Auschwitz concentration camp, and the International Day of Commemoration in Memory of the Victims of National Socialism, as well as in May 2025, in particular around the 80th anniversary of the liberation of the Mauthausen and Gusen concentration camps on 5 May, and 80 years since the end of the Second World War in Europe on 8 May, there will be several film screenings supported by discussions with invited guests.

Didactic teaching material will soon be available for teachers to prepare for and follow up on the film.
